Really enjoyed this place, it was attractive and incredibly beautiful. The staff were friendly efficient and attentive and knew the area. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very good with plenty of meals to choose from. The location in a certain area of the garden was historic.

I loved the cozy atmosphere and the amazing breakfast made with local meats. The attention to detail in the room with fresh milk was a delightful touch! I’d definitely return.

I really loved the cozy charm of this pub B&B and appreciated being just a few steps from the beautiful Church of St Gregory, making it easy to immerse myself in the local history while also being less than a 15-minute walk from Sturminster Newton Mill with fine views and a peaceful stroll along the river.

The Crown has a charming decor that makes you feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere, with its tasteful furnishings and thoughtful touches, stood out . It's accessible for seniors.

A few more accessible seating options would be nice.

The room was gorgeous, with fluffy white towels and tasty hot chocolate waiting for me. I loved the tranquil garden area and cozy nooks for relaxation. Just a heads-up, there were no blackout curtains, so the light came in really early, but it didn’t spoil my stay! 😊

We loved exploring nearby places like the Pure Drop Inn and enjoying darts and squash at the lodge. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was decent with good vegan options. Just a heads up, consider ordering breakfast the night before for quick service.

The room was a bit cold as the heating was switched off, and the towel rail didn't work, a bit of a bummer.

Spacious room, good breakfast, beautifully located pub, with the family room being enormous and a nicely cooked hot breakfast to order served by a friendly chef, alongside free wi-fi and parking available.

For us it was ideal.

Great stay, amazing food!

Got a warm welcome at this cozy inn. My room was super spacious and clean. The food? Wow! Had the chicken with chorizo, and the chips were the best I've had. Breakfast was great with delicious scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Only thing is the breakfast needed to be pre-ordered, a bit tricky.

The on-site restaurant impressed with delicious food, though I found the portions slightly lacking. For a fulfilling meal, order the roast but ask for extra sides. Ideal for solo travelers seeking a tranquil retreat!

The Crown offers beautifully designed accommodations that are both comfortable and well thought out. My room was cozy, with a sizable fridge stocked with proper milk and a lovely bottle of cold water, a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and provided really good service throughout my stay.

The pillows were slightly large, causing some neck discomfort.

I was appalled by the quality of service. The pillows were enormous and caused serious neck discomfort, disrupting my sleep. To top it off, the heating in the room was off. This was not the experience I expected, especially after anticipating a lovely stay.
